Four Squares of Power

Personal Power (individualistic power) and Coercive Power (collectivistic power) are near opposites.  Personal power does not become coercive power until it is used to make decisions and take actions which affect other people.  If those other people willingly comply or contribute then the result is collective application of Personal Power.  If the other people are not willing to comply but the power is asserted regardless then the individual(s) asserting their power are collectively overiding individual(s)' power.
